I have thrush and am treating it, but its embarrasing to tell my bf,I dont want him to think iv gone off sex h?
Question: how do I tell him????
Answers: i think your bf may be just a tad alarmed by a garlic tampon. thrush is not only a sexually transmited thing. you can get it in a really hot climate, when on antibiotics... a lot.. or even just when you are down. you do NOT have to feel embarraced about it. it will clear in a few days especially when you are treating it. if you use a condom anyway he will be fine. you would prob feel better abstaining, even just for three days. best of luck.
Just say your having a few problems right now (nothing to worry about) that's being treated and it's best not to have sex for a while. If he asks what just say it's girl stuff
I'll suppose you're talking about vaginal thrush (Candida spp.). Just a piece of advice:
Remember that Candida is becoming very resistant to medication, and therefore the fluconazole, ketoconazole or amphotericin B your doctor prescribed may not work 100%.
Alternatives that have been proven to help include the application of a cotton tampon containing a diluted extract of Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca artenifolia) and/or garlic (Allium sativum).
