I have never had an ongoing sexual relationship until now...??
Question: I lost my virginity a few years ago and was active 3 times with the guy within that same week. I had a 1 time encounter with someone this past April and in the beginning of August, I started a continuous sexual relationship with my BF. (I'm 20 for the record)We have been together a total of 4 times now. Yesterday, I stared having a weird soreness and slight swelling down there and it continues today- but we haven't had sex since Thursday night. I have never felt this before and I'm wondering if my body is reacting to the constant sex that it has never experienced. Just for the record, I am on my period right now and it is my first one since starting on The Pill. What should I do? Have you experienced anything like this?
Answers: It could be a result of going on the pill and the increased sexual activity. Also, I would consider using a lubricant or increase arrousal before intercourse as it may be that you aren't lubricated enough causing soreness.
I would call you gynecologist to discuss your symptoms and hear her/his thoughts. She should be able to tell you if it might be a result of the new hormone levels delivered by being on the pill.
well done.
Dont have a clue, but if it doesnt go away, better go to the doc.
You are fine. The swelling has nothing to do with the sex. And you are not having constant sex. Your quantity is normal. The pill+a period=swelling. But it'll stop later on. You may experience this with your next period.
This does not sound normal. You should see a doctor. The doctor will know what it is. Could be an allergic reaction to the condom or spemicide. Could be an infection. Good Luck! :)
well first off i thing we need a little more information - like where is the swelling and the soreness? - is it your labia or lower tummy or exactly where? - u can certainly experience soreness from having done it so much when u have never done it very much before - is this guy like really well endowed? - if he is like 7.5 inches or greater u could have a bruised cervix - it happened to my wife before but it only happens in certain positions - bloating and cramping can also occur during ur period and that could aggravate the soreness from the sex - can u give us more info? - if not go see ur doc and have an exam
well the first few days are like that later you will be accustomed with it . and you will do it more than now . Odn;t worry every one does it .
this happened to me when i first started having sex... i was wondering why also...i got really sore and oh man did it hurt... But when i started having sex (lost my virginity to my lovely fiance), we had sex at least once a day and i was sore, so yea i would say your body is reacting to the constant agitation ... just be gentle with your vagina...A cold rag makes it feel better
I am not an expert but it is normal for you to have a soreness if you have too much sex. Especially if you do it a few times in one night or day. It happened to me when I was new to this.
If you are worried, you should consult your gyno (since you are on new birth control and all).
Another reason can be that may be you were not wet enough down there when you guys were having intercourse and the friction can cause the pain and swelling. Try and use lubricant the next time.
I really hope this helps, good luck, be safe and have fun having sex!
