Since i gave birth, i have my back pain...??

Question: since i gave birth and underwent a ceasarian section i have a back pain...i taught its normal, maybe because of anesthesia that they inject 2years ago. i love gardening and i plant trees or flowers but i cant sit too long... i dont think i lack calcium...serious answer please...?
Answers: Hi Aino Mae

With epidural injections they can cause irritation to the joints/muscle/ligament around the spinal segment they go through. It should normally settle quickly as in 6 weeks or so after your baby.

If you had minor back issues prior then it may unsettle the area and then with lifting your baby and just doing general daily activity, the area may stay irritated.

Also by cutting the abdominal muscles, these may be weak and cause less stability in your pelvis and lower back, there are some reflexes you can stimulate to help this quickly.

Also some simple Acupressure points and techniques to get the area working better are easy to do.

See the link below for some free techniques and feel free to email me and I can tell you how to stimulate your abdominal muscles with the reflex points.
I think it's because you are carrying your babies on the outside now. Your baby is getting bigger and of course you are going to get some back pain. You are hunched over at times and holding a baby and a diaper bag, a stroller sometimes. Baby and all of his luggage! Ask any chiropractor!
see a doctor asap.

Yes! I had a C section 4 years ago...and I still feel that dull pain where they put the anesthesia. I remember when she put it in my back, i have had 3 C sections, but with my last one I FELT her hit a nerve! Now every once in a while it will bother me, especially when I am sitting....I wish i knew what i could do...let me know if you find out.........good luck
The puncture in the Lumbar for the epidural can cause long-term back pain. It is quite common, even for extended periods of time.
