Best way to deal with PMS at the job??
Question: I get such BAD PMS that I will cry over almost anything and can't stop...this is really bad to sit crying while working at the office...coworkers either get all concerned or irritated because I avoid others (because PMS puts me in such a bad mood) or if I do interact with them, I feel so sick and weepy that I can't be myself or in a good mood...either way it hurts working relationships. I work mostly with men so talking openly with them about it can be uncomfortable. I don't want to get labeled as overemotional or high-maintenance but this happens for about a week every month. I need help! Anyone have any suggestions how to deal with this? I can't always be prepared because my periods don't always come predictably at the same time every month, although they do come every month. Please give suggestions! Anything I can do to stop how it affects my mood and makes me cry about anything? Anything I can do to help the situation with my coworkers so they don't label me or hate me? Help!
Answers: there is stuff like midol you can tke that can help with moodiness i have depression and take meds but even still i am sensitive that time every month as well but i work with infants and toddlers but it usually something that sets me off and i just try to avoid that sorry i cant be better help
Yes baby, there is something you can do....talk to your OB/GYN about getting on birth control. All you need is a low hormone birth control pill to help regulate you and it will also ease the cramps and PMS symptoms....I promise! I got on Ortho-Cyclin and it has helped me so much!
you need to just block it out take some advil and get on with your life
its rude to act like that in public. your an adult if you were a teenager just starting your period it would be different and see your doctor about birth control pills
