Periods after chemotherapy??
Question: My friend went through chemotherapy about two years ago and hasn't had her period since. Can she still get pregnant even though this is the case? Thank you :)
Answers: If she went through chemo, then she would a doctor. She really should speak with her doctor about it, I'm not sure what the norm is for chemo
unfortunately...chemo can have the effect of destroying ovarian function....there is no way to tell if this is permanent however.....my guess is that the longer she goes without a period....the more likely it is permanent....her doctor can give her some answers tho.....and do some tests...
