The Power Lifting

The power lifting or just power is a strength sport consisting of three events: the bench press, the squat and dead weight. The first modern power lifting competitions began in the late 1960 and is for men and women. In 1972 he created the first federation governing the sport, International Federation of Strength. Unlike weightlifting, where the movements are from the floor to the head, power lifting movements are much shorter, but both sports require great force.
