I woke up this morning and one eye is all bloodshot red and dry feeling??
Question: but at the same time watery... it feels like sand paper... I put some Naphcon™ eyedrops in it earlier and it sort of went mostly away for most of the day but now it's all red again... what the HECK is wrong ?... and is there anything over the counter?

You probably have pink eye! What you can do is go to the pharmacy and ask if they have anything for it, other wise see your doctor. One thing to remember is to not put anything into your eyes without checking first what it is used for. You could make your eye condition worse if the drug is not used for what you have or it may not have any effect at all. You have to be extremely, and I mean extremely, cautious about eye drops. Your eyes are very sensitive and it’s a lot different then just taking an Advil for pain.
O, and don’t touch your eyes without cleaning your hands before and after!!!

pink eye you may need to go to the Dr. Try some Zaditor. It is Over the Counter and for allergy eye symptoms! My son was just at the eye Dr. and he said to use it twice a day for 1 month. It is really helping him a lot. He is 7.
