I went to sleep in my contacts and now my eye has been red for 2 DAYS. I have tried eye drops and EVERYTHING!!?
Question: is something wrong??
Answers: I agree with the previous answer.. They told me when I got my contacts that you WILL get an infection when you sleep in them.. There is no way around it.. It might take a while, but you'll get it!! So just call the doctor!
Yes, you probably have an infection. Call your eye doctor and set up an appointment--they can give you medicated drops that will clear it up.
And don't wear your contacts until it gets better!
That is the same thing that happened to me. Later i found out that i had a ulcer in my eye. The reason i knew this is because about 2 months after i had the redness and the pain in my eye, i went to the eye doctor...He was looking at my eyes and saw a scar. he said i had an ulcer. I got mine from sleeping with my contacts in. Just wear glasses for a couple of days and you'll be fine.
