Question: Why do our eyes look smaller when we wake up?
but as the day goes it returns back to normal size?? and what can you do to avoid it?.
Answers: because our face is slightly swollen due to water retention at night.

your eyes arent smaller...you face is retaining water...thats it! no big mystery!
i guess you could sleep standing up!
