I'm having surgical exposure tommorrow. Should I wear contacts??
Question: Is surgical exposure big enough to put you asleep (for no pain) so that I should not wear contacts? (can't sleep with contacts or it'll ruin your eyes)
Answers: Don't wear them during the procedure.

You should have gotten instructions for your procedure, and it should say things like don't eat or drink anything after midnight, what medications if any that you are on that you can take, no jewlery, no nail polish, and no contacts.
If you are still unsure just wear your glasses to be on the safe side. Unless you are not going to the hospital and not going to be put to sleep. But I just wouldn't wear them.
Good luck
I try not to wear them, In fact I would take them off 15 Minutes before Surgery.
