Could my stripey shirt give me a headache??

Question: it messes with my eyes, especially under the fluorescent lights here.

the shirt is white with fine navy blue pinstripes spaced about a 6mm (1/4in) apart, and between each pair of navy blue stripes is a 2mm (1/12in) sky blue stripe. The stripes cover the entire long-sleeved shirt. I think it is producing a moire pattern or something with the stroboscopic effect of the alternating current in the lights. What are your thoughts?
Answers: It certainly could create a strobing effect when you move under fluorescent lights, but the only way Moire patterns could occur is if you viewed yourself through some kind of screen or on a video display where the pixel (or screen grid) visually interfered with the stripes.

BTW, as a videographer, I hate it when someone has a shirt like that, especially horizontal stripes, as they often flash and create bizzarre Moire patterns and attract attention to that one person, not too unlike if their shirt was on fire.
why would a shirt give you a headache???????
