Effects of pink eye or something else??
Question: I had pink eye and all symptoms have went away except for the pupil in that eye is still smaller than my other eye. i havent had any drops for four days now.
Answers: You might go get that re-checked. Symptoms that outlast a course of medicine must be re-evaluated as not to cause further damage.
There are some eye infections that you can get that irritate without any real noticeable symptoms. You may have had 2 infections in 1 (my daughter had conjunctivitis and another infection last december). Change your mascara (it harbors/breeds bacteria and you may be re-introducing the same bacteria into your eye from before). And remember to wash your hands before you touch your face/eyes. But really, go back to the Optometrist/Doctor if you think something is wrong. Eyesight is nothing to take lightly.
The pupil may be smaller just because it is still sensitive from the conjunctivitis and is healing. When the pupil is smaller it is letting less light in which a way for it to protect itself.
