Question: I have beennn havingg like these bumps under my eyess for like 3 monthss now. I went to the eye doctor and theyy gave me eye drops and some other medcicine. I've been doing it and putting it onn, but they didnt really go away. I went backk to the eye doctor yesterday and he saidd I have to have surgery on the 13th of march if it doesn't go away in 2 months. I a noww washing my eye lids with baby shampoo and doing warm compresses. I reallly don't want surgery. I am 14 and havee never had surgery beforee. Sooo, if they're gonee, I dont need any surgery. Whatt else can I do??
Answers: sorry the first thing that comes to mind is cancer? i think u just dont get enough sleep, thats all.
I think it might be from dry weather. If you live in a cold climate, then that is probably it.
Chinese Medicine/Herbs
It could be allergies.
ask an eye doc?
hmmmm........
SUCKS
try warm oatmeal like a paste or facial with warm water.Leave for about 10 miutes or so then rinse.have you seen about allergies too, there are all kinds out there right now with the seasons so messed up.
If you need surgery, you need surgery. Do what the doctor is telling you to do, if it doesn't work, you will need to have surgery. No-one here can tell you what to do over an eye specialist's prognosis. Unless of course they are an eye specialist themselves, but to make a diagnosis, they would still need to see the bumps!
is it pimples
The word Surgery is scary but take my word for it... Skin stuff is EASY...
I would KILL for a SKIN ISSUE... I'm only 26 years old and I need a NEW HIP.
CALM DOWN... If nothing your doctor has given you has worked then you NEED the surgery...
If you NEED the surgery then don't fight it... Just learn to accept the necessaty!
S#it Happens...
It could be a LOT worse...
Good luck girl!! *HUG*
You will be FINE!
Don't know what they are but I have them, too. I think they are just sweat ducts or sebacious (oil) ducts that have become clogged. Not to worry about them. They are not aome kind of disease. Just funky pores.m Even us old farts get them.
What you have been diagnosed with is plugged oil glands and they vary in size that look similar to little pimples along your lashes or closely near them. They can become red, larger & swollen and then they are more commonly called a chalazion or hordeolum. That is usually when a minor surgical proceedure would be done on the inner side of your lid and under normal circumstances an incision or scar would not be visible.
I would recommend that you do not wear eyeliner or mascara for the next few months, throw away your eyemake-up (get new stuff when they go away), use a Q-tip and gently rub the baby shampoo along your upper and lower lids and rinse well, and make sure you use warm compresses everyday as many times as you can at least 4-6 times a day, more if you can and after the warm compresses do a gentle massage under the little bumps. If the little bumps are not bothering you, besides the way they look then be patient. They can be very stubborn and can take more than six months to get smaller or go away.
