How do I get rid of a busted blood vessel in my eye??
Question: You know when the blood vessel busts in your eye and you have that red patch on the white part of your eye? How do I get rid of that red? a friend told me to pour some witch hazel in my eye but Im not so sure...does anyone have any suggestions or remedies?
Answers: DO NOT..i repeat...DO NOT put witch hazel in your eye... it can burn and lead to corneal damage.
The only cure for for a busted blood vessel in your eye is time. It will eventually turn brown, like old blood does and then flush away.

P/S... how did you bust the vessel in your eye? You don't have hypertension or increased intraocular pressure? If you aren't sure what caused it please check into with your healthcare provider because it could be something more serious!
well i am a eye doctor and i can tell you one thing little lady and that is take some baking soda and mix it with some water and drop it into your eye with an eyedropper. it works much better than any other eye medicine and gets rid of the redness fast. It seems like it would hurt but it really doesn't, just try it and i hope this has helped you! bye bye now
Give it some time to heal itself. I had one after LASIK and it is almost gone.
i got the same thing when i first started wearing contacts and when i got laser eye surgery. my eye doctor says they're eye bruises. just like any other bruise, they go away on their own in a week or so. don't do the witch hazel thing. it won't help and it might have some not so good consequences.
i know it sucks it happend twice to me. but just wait it out for like a week
time is the only real cure, Visine can get some of it out temporarily, but it's going to take time to go away
