New contacts??

Question: I just got contacts yesterday. I had them in for a few hours after the eye doctors and then took them out to go to sleep. When I put them in this morning things were really blurry and still kind of are. Is this just because my eyes are adjusted to them or what?? I know I have them on the right eyes so please don't say that may be the problem. I just want to know if things are going to clear up anytime soon.
Answers: not really blurry

maybe a little

it's more likely that you need to clean them.

Get back to your eye doctor quickly. This isn't normal and shouldn't occur. The most common reason for this is that the lenses are in the wrong eye, so if you have ruled out that possibility by switching them once, then ring your eye doctor and find out what's causing your blurred vision.

Contact lenses sit on your corneas, and keeping corneas healthy should be your number one priority as a contact lens wearer. Imagine life without vision that can be improved to 20/20 - or 6/6, imagine not being able to see ever again as clearly as you do with glasses or contacts.

A well known sports personality in the southern hemisphere recently licked a contact lens and put it back in his eye (he didn't have any solution handy) The result? Fungal infection and ruined cornea, lost career as a boxer.

Now - in order to keep your corneas healthy and your vision clear you need to visit your eye doctor if you have ANY of the following symptoms:
1) Vision Blurry and swapping lenses doesn't clear up
2) Pain that doesn't allow you to wear your lenses comfortably
3) Redness that lasts more than a day
4) Swelling

If you experience any of the above, REMOVE YOUR LENSES, Call your eye doctor and make an appointment for a quick check up. Bring your lenses and case to your appointment.

Best of Luck to you.
that maybe the problem since your still getting used to them but if the solution you left them in is cloudy then switch solutions or you could pour solution in your palms and rub each side of the lense for abt 5 sec then rinse each side, just place it on the tip of your finger and squeeze solution on each side for a couple sec and try them on, if not then go to the doc because lenses are supposed to be clear plastic so if theyre cloudy then it might be your eyes, or try some rewetting drops
