Should i get contacts???
Question: im 13 and i have astigmatism im sick and tired of glasses
Answers: Yes. Contacts are much better than glasses. But keep your glasses as a backup. Your eyes will thank you because some days, you just can't wear contacts.
I got glasses in 3rd trade but now I have contacts and I love them. It is so nice to see clearly in the shower and see so well.
Go buy them!
i just got my glasses like 3 months ago i was totally in denial but my mom made me check my eyes so here i am wishing i could get contact lenses. If you want to get the contacts and your mom lets you then sure go right ahead.
Contacts are a good idea, they're useful and you have full vision. You might be dizzy a little at first, but as long as you keep them clean and take good care of your contacts AND your eyes, you'll be fine. Just make sure you get a pair of glasses too in case anything goes wrong with your contacts or sometimes you might hurt your eye (I once tore my cornea) and you won't be able to wear your contacts, so you'll need glasses anyway. Good luck!
same im 13 have a slight astigmastism and i have contacts. They are GREAT, feels like 20/20 vision.
Contacts are wonderful. You can wear them in the shower, they don't fog up, you don't have to deal with the rain getting on them, they don't slide down you nose, etc. You do, however, have to make sure that you take care of them. Not taking care of your glasses just means you have to get new ones. If you don't take care of your contacts you can get eye infections or worse. So if you decode to get them, make sure that you clean them and take care of them the way your doctor tells you to and I'm sure you'll love them. Enjoy!
Yes i love mine
grr i hate my contacts...sometimes they get dry and sometimes they are a real ***** to get in but i still like them way better then my glasses...and when i dont feel like putting them in i just wear my glasses instead, simple
I have glasses as you can see. I think it would be wise to keep the glasses too, if you do get contacts. I have both now. I wore glassed from 2nd grade til after I graduated high school. I went strictly to contacts and missed my glasses so bad. I hated that I had to put my contacts in first thing in the morning instead of just throwing on my glasses. Plus, I never did see as sharply with the contacts as I did with my glasses. So, now what I do is if Im going out I put on the contacts, but if I stay in or dont do anything social I keep the glasses on.
yes
yes.. but u might get a headache after a while..
but its easier if u have myopia instead.. it doesnt give u a headache..
absolutely! Contacts are so much better than glasses you just have to remember to take care of them which you are indeed old enough to do Go for it!
Depending on your perscription, you can get contacts. If your astimatism is really severe, or if you have really thick lenses, you still might be better off with glasses. But otherwise, go for the contacts.
yea go for it
