URGENT - Swollen Lower Eyelid ?(Right Eye)??
Question: So over the past few days I had very little sleep, so yesterday I woke up and i felt like someone punched in my right eye. So i went out and bought some visine for my eyes. My eye felt very bruised. So I get a warm towel and compress it against my eye. I fall asleep, wake up and now its f in swollen its only in my lower eyelid of my right eye.
I also do were contacts, but over the past week I've stayed home so i havent worn them in a week or so. I also have gotten very little sleep.
Will this go away over time ? or will I need to seek medical attention ? ( which i dont rlly want to). Thanks.

commonly this can be caused by a sty . Being as it is your eye my advise is a strong don't play around, get to the doctor. If it is a sty the fix is a prescription cream for the eye for a set period of days. Don't delay you only get one set of eyes
See your ophthalmologist (medical doctor/M.D. who is specially trained to take care of eyes) rather than an optometrist (not a medical doctor, great for fitting eyeglasses but not a physician). Don't delay. Don't wait til 4am. Good luck. You only have one pair of eyes.
