Read close-up...hurt eyes...look far away...help eyes????

Question: When i was younger i would ALWAYS read close up for long periods of time and watch t.v close up and my eyes would feel really tired and almost ache....i have always thought this could be the cause of my near-sightedness...my eyes aren't that bad...they are about 80/20.

My eyesight got to be that after perfect vision for 14 years. (and too much reading close up...)

If that was the cause....if i start to focus more on looking faraway....would it reverse the effect and i would get my eyesight better?

i know this is way far fetched but i was just wondering....no rude comments please...

Thanks in advance!!! :)
Answers: not trying to be rude. but no one online can help you with your eyes. common sense would tell you to go to the doctor
The close work did NOT cause you being near-sighted. So many people believe this and it is so wrong.
Your eye shape and size determine what prescription lenses you need to focus the light entering the eye on the retina. An external factor like looking far away or close up WILL NOT alter your prescription.
80/20 is not not that bad it means something has to be 4 times the size it has to be for someone with normal vision to see it.
I suggest glasses or contact lenses- so exercises that will just waste your time
this wont work ! the only thing you can do is to get laser eye surgery! sorry
