I tried the drop i change my soulution from optifree to clear care but its not working. I also dont sleep in thme or take a shower in them and i only can wear contacts for 3 days. So if i open a new box they feel good for 3 days then i cant put thme in again. I dont wear them ovvernight i just wear them from 9 am to like 10 pm
Answers: You may have sensitive eyes, or you contacts may have made your eyes sensitive to the contacts. Similar to building an allergy.

I've worn contacts for a few years now and can't take them anymore. The discomfort, redness and my diminishing capacity to produce tears which are ALL caused by the contacts have turned me back to glasses.

I use a standard soft contact. I was looking at the moisture holding ones for a while be never got them. I'm glad I didn't! A lot of that moisture hold technology was preventing proper cleaning and causing eye infections.

You say your contacts are hydroclear, you may want look into getting some standard soft contacts, no fancy state-of-the-art stuff, since those are the untested products.

You also shouldn't keep contacts over a month, the build up by that time can cause eye irritation and other issues which your eye doc with tsk tsk. I had the same pair for 2-3 months before I went back to the doctor and he got mad at me!

I would do 1, if that doesn't help do 2, if that doesn't help, do 3.

1: Get new, standard contacts.

2: Get a new prescription from a new doctor. Your current doctor may be giving you the wrong prescription. The contact has to be shaped for your eye.

3: Get some stylish eye glasses and prescription sunglasses.
If you are making sure that they are properly cleaned, and stored in the solution recommended, you should consider wearing them only for the time you absolutely have to, ( for work) and then change to glasses for the rest of the time. Even wearing glasses for part of the time at work if you have long working hours. Try 4 hrs and see if that helps. I was told to start with four hrs and then gradually increase the time, until you are all right with the lenses for the duration of your working hours. Continue using glasses after work. See if that will help you, and then talk to your Optometrist and see what he would have to say.

It could be because you are wearing them for sooo long. My eye doctor recommended that I wear them for no longer than 8 hours or so if at all possible... do I listen, not all of the time, but try taking yours out sooner and see if it helps.

Hope this helps. :-)
I used to have the same problem, not anymore, and it only happened with my soft contact, so what I do is before I put it on, I place a drop of Refresh Contacts on it, and don't leave it on for that many hours, hope this helps
ur contacts might not be the right kind 4 u...u should call ur the dr. that prescribed them to u, ecspecially if u just got them...if u've had them 4 awhile now, u might have an infection in ur eyes...contact ur dr. immidiately!!!
