Lazy eye questions??

Question: hi.. one of my eyes are perfectly fine and the other one is very blurry.i wonder if i can do anything for the blurry eye to strengthen it,i heard patches dont work but does excersise raise my vison at least a little? Will my lazy eyes get worse andd go blind and evantually wander off.
i am 17 years old and my eye appear normal i can make it wander off.
Answers: I know there is a surgery to make your eyes straight, but unless you religiously wore the patch ages 2-8, theres no way to fix it. I read a study about kids 11-17 being able to wear a patch to strengthen the eye, and I did it for a few months on and off, but it barely helped any.
If your eyes appear normal, are you aure one is lazy and not just short-sighted? (in this case, optician time).
I don't really know if lazy eyes get worse over time in general, but what i do know is i was horrified years ago to look at my pre-school photos and see that i had a very obvious lazy eye! There is no evidence of it now though (@ college), or for as long as i can remember, it was gone by primary school. So maybe they do go away of their own accord or maybe i was lucky? Good luck.
My sister has a lazy eye. I've heard that up until the age of about 7, it can be treated. However, in her case, it wasn't detected until after that age and nothing really could be done for her. She's now in her early 50s and says that her vision in that eye is really weak. She can see but not well.
My sister had a lazy eye. It was completely cured by using a patch because it retrains the brain and the lazy eye to work together. You should go to an eye doctor and he can give you proper advice on what to do before you get much older.
Have you seen an eye doctor to find out why one is blurry? That eye may need glasses or may have damage inside.

Unless you know the reason the eye doesn't see well, nobody can tell you whether it will get worse or whether patching or exercises will help.

Ask your eye doctor this question.
