Can I pick up my free trial pair of Freshlook Contacts at my local Costco? Or where else could I pick them up??
Question: I went online and got the free trial pair certificate for the Freshlook contact lenses and I printed it out. Now where would you recommend going to pick them up?
Answers: You can pick them up at any eye doctor's office, BUT you must have an eye exam first. Your eye doctor needs to make sure you are suited for wearing contacts, and he needs to measure your pupils to ensure that you get the right size of contacts. You may or may not be able to wear the Freshlooks, depending on the size of your pupils. They only come in 14.5 diameter, and 8.6 BC. You may need something smaller, such as the Acuvue Colours. Go to Acuvue's site, and print off a coupon for a free pair there too, in case you can't wear the Freshlooks. The eye doctor will also need to check your vision to ensure that it hasn't changed since your last eye exam, if it has been awhile since you've had one. Even if you have 20/20 vision, you do still need a prescription for colored contacts.
I had a coupon for each brand printed off, but ended up not needing either one. This is because when you decide you want contacts, your eye doctor has to give you a trial pair to try out for 2 weeks, so you and he can both find out if contacts are for you or not.
You still need to go to an optometrist. They will need to measure your prescription and base curve to give you the trials. Most contact brand have free trials, you don't really need the coupon.
