Answers: You need both. At some point you may not be able to wear your contacts, such as an eye infection. you'll need glasses for back up atleast. If you have a small amount of astigmatism it won't make much difference in the fit of the contacts. Based on the numbers you gave, your eyeglass lenses can be thick on the edges based on the type of frame you choose. Pick something small that suits your face and that will help keep them as cosmetically appealing as possible. If you do not like the way they look go with the contacts. You sound young and there are alot of cute and colorful frames out there. Contacts are great for active people (sports, dancing) and when fit properly can be worn very comfortably for years. You should however, have your eyes examined by someone nearby your home who can help you if you have any problems.
i don't think there is a difference.but glasses are more comfortable than contacts.
Glasses are better for those with astigmatism, it will help you see more sharply. However, it really depends on what you do. If you are very active, contact lenses are more practical. If you are more of a reader or a thinker, or have a computer related job (or anything that requires you to see in clear, sharp detail) glasses are much better.
Glasses!!!
You definitely need to start wearing contact lenses. Lenses puts a check on the increasing eye number.
