A family member is being treated for memory loss...??

Question: with anti-depressants (Lexapro). After 6 weeks, symptoms were much improved. Now one week later, it is like no treatement ever was done. The mind is like a sieve.

I know we need to talk to the dr about this, but in the meantime, what would cause this? Short of stopping the medication which I don't think happened. There was a disruption to the normal routine for about a week, and for the past 3 days the routine has been restored but the confusion remains.

So far, Alzheimers is not the diagnosis

Thanks in advance for your input.
Answers: I know several people on Lexapro and missing their dose for one day throws them out of sync... it will take awhile for it to get back to stable again providing there are not any outside factors.
Good luck and definitely ask for support when dealing with a family member in a stress-ful situation, I know that I couldn't stay sane on my own!
It could also be a condition where the family member is loosing time. Has no memory of what happened, ends up in strange places, not knowing how they got there etc. This condition is called Multiple personality disorder. Something to check out on.
