Answers: CREST is a syndrome.

C - Calcinosis. Calcium deposits, usually in the fingers.

R - Renaud's phenomenon. Fingers and hands become cold and blue in response to stress or cold. Vasospasms of the fingers/hands.

E - Esophageal dysmotility. Loss of muscle control in the esophagus.

S - Sclerodactyly. A tapering deformity of the bones of the fingers.

T - Telangiectasias. Small red spots on the fingers, face or inside of the mouth.
