I need info on a dual diagnosis of BPD & Bipolar??
Answers: BPD and Bipolar are really similar to each other. I was originally diagnosed with borderline personality disorder which is more or less something they label you with when they can't figure out what is wrong with you. It is a personality disorder though. I was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder once my first manic episode was recognized. The symptoms you experience really are very much alike and in my case were treated in a similar way (anti-depressant + mood stabilizer + anti-anxiety).
Hope my first hand experience helps a bit.
I have it too and like to share info with you. Pls IM at messenger address:amigo_fares73@yahoo.com
