Do I sleep too much??
Question: Hello and thank you for trying to help. Lately I have been sleeping for a long long time about 10-15 hours at a time. Now before you guys start thinking I have a serious problem let me tell you alittle about my daily life so you can think that is why. I play internet poker alot so I could stay up for like 18 hours straight which causes to sleep more?? I have different times of goin to sleep as I can sleep when I want. So 1 day I will sleep at 11pm and another day at 11am. This is all gonna change...BUT could this be the reason why I am sleeping like this or is it a serious problem?

Answers: First off, is that all you do with your life? Spending most of your time playing internet poker, in itself, sounds unhealthy. You must do something else? Like a job? Or going out with friends? Go for walks?
It sounds like you have an issue to me. You need to attempt to put you sleep schedule on track. It is unhealthy to have a sleeping pattern like this. I would suggest you see a doctor for help and try to start going to bed/waking up at the same time every night/morning.
Sounds like you are mucking up your sleep pattern big time. It does like regularity with a few exceptions here and there... less exceptions the old you get (IMHO).
You might want to keep a sleep diary recording when you went to bed, slept and got up. If you are still worried about it take your sleep diary to the doctor and ask some advice.

I don't know why you're not sick all the time. I can sleep 12 hrs..although I wake up off and on during that time...but to have the hours change so much...it would drive me nuts!! I feel sorry for you if you do get a job and have to straighten out your hours. Get some Melatonin to help you when you do have to get on a schedule.
