Depression help??
Question: I've taken quite a few depression tests online... they all say I'm depressed or serverely depressed, and I've felt this way for a few years. I really want to go to the doctors so I can get a professional diagnosis, but I don't want my parents to know or anything.
I'm 14, but is there anyway of me being able to go to the doctors myself?
Answers: If I were you, Id talk to the school psychologist or guidance councelor. They can help you. Otherwise, i dont know how to get help without involving your parents, sorry.

I had the same problem as you an went yesterday. I was really scared but will get help now, onl thing that pissed me off that he didn't say it was depression but from everything else he said, I think it was.
try calling a local mental health place in your area. and tell them what is going on and how old you are and why you dont want to tell your parents. sometimes you can go to a place called netcare and they talk to you and tell you what is wrong. sometimes they give you a referance to other mental health places. try www. netcareaccess.com
Unfortunately because you are a minor you will need a parent to accompany you. Talk to someone about what is troubling you. Maybe a teacher or a parent. It is important to speak to someone so you can address the issues before they get worse. Best of luck to you.
