Question Regarding Frenular Chordee??

Question: Hi,

Hopefully somebody shall be able to help me with a worry I have, recently I have been having some doubts about my penis and wanted some advice regarding whether it is normal . I am not asking about size etc but in particular one part of my penis.

I have researched to find out that I think my penis suffers from frenular chordee - I have been looking at various sources for information however nothing really appears to be exactly as I see it - plus I have never seen another male to compare.

My penis looks - almost identical - to this image which I found on Wiki which stated was suffering from the above mentioned condition - could anybody tell me if this is normal whilst errect? (Image URL - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en... ) My penis foreskin does retract however it becomes tight like the above picture.

Naturally I shall at some point visit a doctor but understandably this is a very sensitive subject for me.

Any advice really is appreciated.
Answers: There are loads of penis pictures online for you to compare. I know Wiki has some others. There is also a web site with pics somewhere, just look for anatomy sites.

I dunno if you have that or not so if other pictures seem to suggest you do then see your doctor, they should have treatment other than circumcision. If they don't have treatment, and you're not having any serious problems regarding pain etc then just leave it.
The frenulum can be released by very simple surgery. If your foreskin is still tight you might want to consider a full circumcision but you should discuss the options with your doctor.

wow dude. what advice can anyone of us give you? this is a problem which MUST be solved by a dr. no nutritionist, dermotologist, or any other 'ist' can get you out of this. i realize that this is a very sensitive issue but delaying is wasting time and NONE of us has time to waste. we have to get on with it and live every day full throttle cause you never know the moment. know what i mean? hope ive encouraged you to seek competent help. good luck
Yes your doctor is the best person to ask. Don't be embarrassed doctors see these things all the time.
If it doesn't hurt don't worry about it. If it does cause pain, then the frenulum can be cut across to release it. My boyfriend had frenulum chordee that was a whole lot worse than that. The doctor recommended circumcision, which we didn't want. So I put ice on it and cut the frenulum with a razor blade. Worked great.
