I workout and want a flatter chest. any way??
Question: I have big pecs that some people like but theyre a little too big for my body and sometimes look booby-ish.not gyno but just big. big but hard and strong. is there any way to get them flatter and nice looking?
this is what i do now:
bench 3 sets
incline db press 3 sets
incline db flys 3 sets
pushups with 45lb weight on back
i mix it up but thats basically it. any excersizes to flatten them up? im not fat but built but the chest is too big.
Answers: Hey Dude,
The problem is that your work outs have been out of balance to work your pecks more than anything else. Now they are bigger than anything else. You don't want to lay off of them all together as they will get booby-ish . In order to give your body some balance, you will have to tone-only (more reps less weight) for your chest and build your shoulders and arms (increased weight reps) until you get an even or more satisfactory appearence. This is a common mistake and is not a big deal to fix. In the future just cut back on the number of different chest exercises or cut the number of reps by up to half. You do not need to do 5 or 6 different exercises to get a good chest work out. Start with push ups ( still the best chest group muscle exercise) then one or two additional ones- flat-bench, incline press, military, butterly, pick two but not all of them. Don't forget to work on your but and legs while making the top more even looking. Nothing worse than Hercules on top and Birdman on the bottom. Good Luck!

I'd slack off a bit on your reps, to maybe get them a bit smaller. But not sure of any way to make them flatter. Regardless, big pecs are cool anyway so if you can't get them flatter, still know you look good.
