Masturbation and Shame??
Question: I have been doing it for my whole life but Now I am beginning to feel guilty about it. I stopped looking at internet porn but I still feel like doing it. I want to stop because now when I do it i feel immense guilt about it. I am down to once a week. How can I tell my wife I do it? Should I tell her or is it an acceptable secret? I dont look at kids or anything like that but I still feel ashamed. This morning I did and i feel awful today. Hardly functioning. My dad never talked to me about it. By the way i am 34 years old shouldn't I be over this by now?
Answers: Hell no you should not be over it. Keep on enjoying yourself, and quit shaming yourself about it. If you are masterbating in lieu of sex with your wife, you should be ashamed, but if you are just getting off in the shower, before work or when you have some free time and feel like it, just quit the head game and enjoy your own body. Masterbating while married is perfectly normal, and as long as it doesn't interfere with your sex life with your spouse, feel free to do it as much as you want. If your wife does not approve of you masterbating, too bad, just don't do it around her.
Email me if you want to talk more about it, I am happily married and still masterbate regularly, and don't worry about it. I also know several guy friends that are married, and they all readily admit they enjoy themselves too. It is normal and healthy, keeps your valves functioning well.
Don't worry it feels good
There is nothing to be ashamed of,people do it weather they are married or not so,pull, enjoy and don't feel guilty about doing something that is perfectly normal.
One of the lies that they tell you when you're a kid is that it's baby stuff, that little dudes do it ( Parenthood ), and that it's something you outgrow. Fathers rarely tell their sons anything about masturbating; typically it's mom, who simply says Don't! But you only replace it with something else as you get older, usually intercourse or masturbating with someone else. No two people in a couple are both aroused to the same degree all the time. Sooner or later one of you needs to be satisfied when the other isn't in the mood. So you masturbate to relieve yourself. No big deal. Better if your mate does it for you, of course. Not all sex has to be intercourse. However, if you don't want your wife involved during those sessions with yourself, then something else may be going on and some kind of appropriate counseling may be necessary to get to the bottom of it. Whatever, guilt isn't necessary: guys do indeed masturbate all their lives, even when they're married, with our without their wives helping. Be cool, in that regard you're fine.
Bud, every man in the world does it and if anyone ever tells you otherwise, get your hip boots!
Nothing wrong, all natural, keep on choking!
You're being way too hard on yourself. As long as your masturbatory habits don't interfere with you and wife having sex on a regular basis it's fine . If you are substituting porn and masturbation for the real deal - assuming that the real deal is still available to you-then you have a problem that needs to be addressed and hopefully solved.
Guys will masturbate until the day they die so you have a long future ahead of you.
True story;
Sam Donaldson once told former President Ronald Reagan that 99% of all men mastubated in the shower and the other 1% sang a certain song he then asked President Reagan if he knew the the words to that song to which Reagan replied -No
Very simple, you are in charge the way you want to feel and if masturbation leaves feeling with guilt and shame ,simply do not do it becauese what you are getting in return for a little of unreal mental stimulation is not worth at all feelings of shame and guilt(veru heavy emotion). You can even talk to your wife she may be understanding and even helpfull but it is also risky. There is obviously something that you are trying to fill your heart and at this moment or in past you thought that thatis it ,but it is only cover.
So stop doing it ,withdrew and see what is going on,I certainly know that you have a lot of energy ,use it for creation, art not jerking off with some A.I.
Forgive me for being maybe to rough I could have been more. But because I was in those waters itis hard to swim there it is so negative and unreal.
Drop all that it is unreal anuway.
All the best.
God Bless
Tell her, she may enjoy joining you and you bothcan have some good fun. Yes, tell her.
The majority of people masturbate whether they are in a relationship or not. Your wife probably does it too.
You have nothing to feel guilty or ashamed about. You probably wouldn't be able to stop doing it if you tried. Try to incorporate in your lovemaking with your wife. Do it together.
The urge to masturbate will be with you forever. It's a very addictive activity. Think nothing of it. Enjoy it.
Reading about the issue you're having really makes me thrilled to be in the realtionship I'm in w/ my husband. I'm so glad that we're both cool w/ each others sexuality. He masturbates alone & tells me about it & I do it & tell him about it & sometimes we do it together watching each other. It's a win/win situation. Is your wife maybe the reason why you feel guilty about doing it? Is it just the watching porn that makes you feel that way? It's completly normal to Jack....you should see if Jill would like to join Jack sometimes.....you may make your wife a very, VERY happy woman...RELAX!!!!
Don't feel ashamed or guilty about what you do. Many married men and women masturbate occasionally, and it really isn't something you should make a big deal about. We all need to release stress and tension, and masturbation is the perfect way to do this. It's up to you whether you tell your wife about this or not. If she is broad-minded and supportive, she will probably understand your need to masturbate occasionally, and won't feel threatened or disgusted by it. Some wives like to watch their husbands masturbate, or even join in. If, on the other hand, she is liable to be shocked by the whole thing, it might be prudent to keep this to yourself. Whatever you decide to do, just remember that you aren't doing anything to be ashamed of. I'm 45 and I still masturbate. My wife is quite relaxed about it, and even encourages me to do it if she isn't in the mood for sex.

It's something that you have been doing all your life why now are you feeling this way? I think you shouldn't be doing it because you have a wife.... I'm a wife and I got mad when I husband said he did it shortly after we had an argument....
I personally think that should be over and done with.... you have someone that can take care of that need and she should.
