Strong smelling urine??
Question: My husband's urine has such a strong odor and it's driving me crazy. If he goes to the bathroom and doesn't flush, I can smell it from the hallway. This is a chronic thing that's been going on for years, so I know it's not a food thing, etc...
What could be causing it to smell so strongly?
Answers: Lack of water. Your urine is stronger smelling when you are dehydrated. Ever notice in the a.m. when you first get up? Its dark and smells stronger?? Tell your husband to flush the toilet!!! Thats nasty!
Maybe he doesnt drink enough water
PS your additional details made me feel a bit queezy
It sounds like he's not drinking enough water and too much coffee (per day). Try him on some fruit juices if he doesn't like water. Or hot water with lemon juice in it for a refreshing dring. He will probably find his system no so sluggish and his skin will look better too.
It sounds initially like he doesn't drink enough water -- is he a coffe drinker? soda? Does he take medicines, especially vitamins? First have him drink water only, and lots of it, and if that doesn't help, see a soctor.
you better must go to a doctor for that to be checked up
Not enough fluids, dehydration
Bacterial infection of the kidneys or bladder
Some folks have a pretty stong smell naturally, rather musky and ammonia mixed together. It may also be that he simply doesn't drink enough water, and waits a long time between stops. The concentrated urine he produces as a result would have a strong odor. One thing you can do to help with the odor is to keep a bleach drop in in the toilet tank- it will help neutralize the ammonia odor.
tell him to flush
its natural
Could be his diet or some sort of infection best option seek doctors advice...
