Do you dream while under anesthesia??

Question: i have to get my gallbladder removed next week, and i was curious as to whether or not you dream while under.
Answers: For the type of anesthesia that is required for cholecystectomy, it is unlikely that you'll dream.

General anesthesia is NOT sleep. It is a drug-induced state of unconsciousness. It just looks like you're sleeping, but it's much, much different.
if you do you wont remember it.

i did not, i don't remember a thing. in and out. good luck
I've had quite a bit of surgeries.. I never dreamed that I can remember during any of them. The last thing I remember is the nurse saying something to me. One time is was count back from 10, another it pretend you are going to Hawaii - oh the beach, can you feel the sun, and still another was like oh you should be getting sleepy now, we will see you in a while. Then you go to sleep and wake up in the recovery room. No fanstastic dreams =). Good luck on the surgery!!
I did not dream, just dropped off and the next thing is I woke up. Nothing in between.
i didnt ....
Not that you remember - during general anesthesia there is minimal brain activity, considerably less than when you're asleep.
