How can you tell if someone is shooting up cocaine??
Question: One of my best friends has been distant from me for some while now. Every since she got her boyfriend moved in with her (about a year ago). We used to hang out a lot & text, email, IM, etc...a lot. I seldomly hear from her now. Especially if I don't make the first move @ contacting her. Sometimes she ignores my messages. She knows I'm against drugs. I've had a few people tell me that she has been doing cocaine & that she has been shooting it up. One person said she could be shooting it up in her toe, if she wanted to, so no marks would be visible on her arms. I'm worried about her. I know she wouldn't admit it to me for anything. She's hanging around people that are known to do it. So since she is shooting it up (if she really is), rather than snorting it, the tell-tale sign of sniffing & post-nasal drip don't come into play. How can I tell if my friend is on cocaine?
Answers: Eyes bloodshot.
Losing weight/Not very hungry.
Hyper.
Talks alot.
Has more confedience.

I've done it and it's pretty easy to hide.
You'll just have to ask her and see if she can look at you in the eyes and how she reacts. From the looks of it, she is but so far there doesn't seem to be any actual physical evidence. But if I had to make a judgment now based on and only on what you said I'd say yes she is.
If she is your friend just come right out and ask her, I would. You'll be able to tell if she is lying.
Cocaine is a stimulant. But she would need to be high at the time for you to notice the change. Otherwise she may be a bit antsy or standoffish, which you have already noticed. Weight loss is common, as is nervousness. I doubt she would have gone straight to shooting in her toe as most people are generally afraid of needles. Her arms would be the most likely candidate so you will see track marks as they are called.
They'll have bruises and red marks all throughout their arms.
They'll be really pale or sick looking.
...They probably won't have an appetite, or will have a really large appetite.

NOW while doing coke n n-e way is dangerous shooting it by far is the most deadly.
try to stage an intervention while people do drugs 2 feel good crashing off cocaine makes u feel really BAD so maybe 4 her the bad will outweigh the good & she'll be willing to accept help.
do not give up on her she obviously needs help.
Most people on coke are very hyper. Also there eyes kinda bug out and they never wanna sleep.
