I want to know whether there are alcohol rehabs in Derry, Pennsylvania that will also treat dual diagnosis??
Question: Aside from being an alcohol addict, my sister also happens to be really depressed. I was just wondering whether there are alcohol rehabs that will accept her and treat her for both of her illnesses. Or would it be better to have her undergo substance abuse treatment first?
Answers: Since your sister has dual diagnosis, her treatment should be able to deal with both of her illnesses simultaneously. Treating only one of them would be futile as this does not mean that the other will go away. This also bodes for bigger chances of relapse.
