I cut my finger with a dremel and a piece of "tissue" or "tendon" is hanging out of the cut. The pain?
Question: ..has gotten progressively worse over the last 4 days. My question is this...could it be a nerve ending? It hurts like a B*tch when touched...shoots pain all the way up the arm. I am uninsured.
Answers: Go to the ER. Wwhen they send your bill call them and ask for charity bed every hospital has this and they either wipe out the bill or reduces it to a very low fee
see a doctor.
it is called proud flesh take finger nail clippers and snip it off.
suck it up man have some one kick you in the balls when you are about to cut and I promise you will not feel the cut after a while when you get feeling back to your finger it will not hurt as much.
Seriously, if that is your finger in the pic, then you need to go to the ER. First of all, a dremel is dirty and you probably have some serious infection. It is probably infection that is causing pain to shoot all the way up your arm. If that infection spreads to the blood or the bone, then you have a serious problem. You could lose the finger, the arm, or you could die. At this point, you definitely need IV antibiotics and possibly surgery. At the very least, that finger needs to be cleaned out by a physician and could be done under heavy sedation in the ER. What is hanging out could only make the situation above worse. You could be looking at loss of sensation or movement in the finger, depending on what all you cut. Either way, only a doctor who actually gets to examine the finger can tell you the definite extent of the damage. I agree it sux to be looking at this situation without insurance, but the longer you wait, the more extensive treatment you are going to need, and the more expensive this is going to get. I do not think this is going to get better on its own. GL
You're a frickin retard, Gomez. Call 911 for a cut finger that he's had for four days, no less? *Retard*.
Go to the ER. Who gives a f*ck if you're uninsured. Apparently your finger and its use are not important to you. Now you are waiting days, and tissue necrosis and infection will set in, and you'll have nerve damage. Way to go!
Apparently you have money for digital cameras to take a picture of your finger and a computer, and money to pay your internet bill each month, but no money to fix your frickin finger. Makes sense to me!
Insurance or not, you should either call 911 or check your yellow pages for an Ask A Nurse or similar telephone advice service which may be available in your area. You could be risking permanent damage and loss of use of your finger. Many communities have indigent care programs for people who can't afford medical care. Worst case, it's better to incur some debt than to have your hand messed up for life. call 9-1-1.
migte have, but just plaster it then bandage the ***** up
