If a person is on medical leave of absence from work, should they be hanging out with friends??

Question: If they are to sick to work, shouldn't they stay home?
Answers: Being impaired doesn't mean that the quality of your life has to suffer. The only thing you shouldn't do when on medical leave is the specific activity, or related activities, that you are too impaired to do at work.
For example: If someone has had a concussion hence cannot concentrate and has an impaired memory, this does not mean they can't go to a coffee shop and converse with a friend. In addition, recreational activities can actually speed recovery.
what kind of medical leave of absence? unless is is contagious, i wouldn't worry about it. i don't know, it depends.
it would depend on what kind of sick she was. getting over some kind of trauma or fighting depression, socializing might be healthy.
Depends on the condition and reason for leave. Sounds like someone needs to mind her own business, frankly.
It all depends on the kind of sickness that person has. If it is depression, then that person is better off hanging out with friends instead of being alone. It would be best to socialize in a situation like that. A lot of people is too sick to work but has no problem socializing with other people.
I was on medical leave from work and I had just had a baby... So, NO... But if they are out with the flu, cold, something along those lines.. yes... it honestly depends on what they have
I agree.... to a point.

If a person has surgery on their arm, and they use their arm in their job, so they can't work... they could still be escorted to a pub and have a drink with friends, using the other arm.

It all depends on why they are not able to work, and what they are doing when they are with their friends.
Depends on what's wrong with them.

Certain illnesses require bedrest, others do not nor are they contageous. The ill person may just not be able to take a full day of work due to their problem.
mind your own damn business ...noisy
