What causes a painful bump on genitals after using lubricants??
Question: I noted that a small painful bump occurs in different places on scrotum/shaft after I use personal lubricants Wet or Astroglide. Only occurs when I use a lubricant for masterbation and sex.
Only one at a time. Never gets a head or opens up. Lasts for 4 - 7 days. Always in a different place but only on scrotum and shaft. Always about the same size. Localized in the layers of the skin.
It doesn't happen when I just use a condom.Trojan-ENZ with spermicidal lubricant.
Heterosexual only with no history of herpies or other STD's. No drainage, rash, redness, scabbing, open areas, or swelling. One female partner made indication that she was having the same problem only after we used Wet.
Answers: Dude, you've got herpes. Get a herpes blood test if you don't believe me.
Sorry.
Also, don't use that lube if it's causing you to break out so you don't pass on the joy of herpes.
You're either allergic to the product, or it's just friction bumps. I don't use any product and I get it from time to time. The best way to avoid it is to wash yourself at least twice a day. Try a summer's breeze gel wash or something similar. (They're just as good for guys as they are for gals.) The cleaner you and your partner keep yourselves, the healthier a sex life you can enjoy!
I am not really sure, but it sounds like an allergic reaction. It might also be a contaminated or expired bottle of lubricant. I would throw away the bottle, and try something different. Thats the only thing I can think of since both you and your partner experienced the same thing.
Possibly an allergic reaction?
