Thrush causing my baby to eat very little??
Answers: thrush is very painful to lil ones and it will decrease their appetite
if you have the resources take baby to the clinic the doctor will give you a prescript for nystatin liquid, its sorta i think banana flavored and it wont be long before your babies appetite returns and the crankiness leaves, if your baby has the tell tell sign of thrush in their mouth it will appear as white bumpy looking tongue

If your baby has white masses in it's mouth then yes it's thrush and you need to take the kid to the doctor. But it sounds to me like it might be colic, either way take that kid to the doctor, he's not getting proper nutrition!

dependingon the age, it can as the build up can change the taste of usual food they eat...doctor can prescribe a med to help reduce this; its yeast in the mouth

yeah thrush of the mouth is very bad and to one so little.. i trust you have took him or her to the doctor...if not you need to right away and if he does not start eating better you should contact his doctor again...he can get real sick if he does not eat enough or have enough milk or water in him...i imagine the poor baby is just miserable too.. good luck with him or her and do what is best for the baby... and seek medical help
Painting Gentian violet on the baby's mouth helped in Africa. Usually the baby has a very sore throat. The Dr. could order Mycostatin as drops that the baby swallows for a prescription. Might be good to find out how the baby got it as it can mean other problems, especially if it recurs again and again. So a clinic visit or a nurse might be helpful.
