Severe Back Pains??

Question: I have been experiencing some severe back pains over the last few years due to, what I found out recently is some minor scoliosis. I'm not growing anymore, so I don't think the irregularities will worsen, but other than heating pads what can I do to help lessen the severity of the pains or eliminate them altogether?
Answers: You could see a spine Dr. who could put some cortisone shots into your spine and that should help. Also try low impact water aerobics classes. Find a rehab place because they have therapeutic pools and the water is warmer. I have arthritis and a lot of back problems. Warm water and facet injections and some of their other tricks are the way to go. Relaxation tapes and pain management Dr.'s can really help. Back pain is so painful. Good luck to you!
Its in your imagination is what the social security office tells me noone has ever had back pain
Try yoga. I have sciatica pain, arthritis in my lower back and spinal compression. Not a day goes by that I don't have some kind of pain. I have recently began doing yoga and it really helps. It's definitely worth a try. :)
