I have what I think is a wart on my ankle.??
Question: It has been there for over 3 years and I continually treat it with over the counter wart medicine as well as filing it with a corn remover. Everytime it seems to become flush with my skin (no longer a bump) I stop treatment and it comes back. It itches during the treatment. Should I continue the treatment longer? Is the skin around the wart supposed to be red? Could it be something other than a wart? A doctor's appointment will cost me a lot of money so I would like some opinions of home remedies that work or opinions of what else it could be.

The redness could be caused by irritation from the OTC wart remover, but you should get it checked.
I have never found OTC treatment to be effective with warts. The only thing that has worked for me is freezing them off, but even then they can still come back after a little while because it is difficult to completely remove the wart.
have you ever used w compound its a wart removal treatment you buy it in stores it may get rid of it but if it doesn't work it could be a mole that grew i have a mole under my eye that recently appeared so it could be a mole.
There is a product called duoderm. Which is excellent for the condition you have.
