Question: Lately I've been having cravings for foods with lots of carbohydrates, or sugar in them, headaches, dizzy spells, and headrush every time I stand up.Does anyone know if these things might be linked?
Answers: Hypoglycemia
diabetes maybe? call your doctor ASAP
Diabetes
lets see, u r eating alot of sugar, making u a 600+lbs fatass, this in turn makes standing a hugh workout for you heart causing blood flow to decrease to you head and making your dizzy, once up and the struggle is over, the blood rushes back to ur head, hence the headrush, and having a couple of headrushes of that magnitude every day will then bring on the headaches. diagnosis complete
Sounds like you need to have your sugar checked.
That's the symptoms I get when my sugar is acting up.
I'm Hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) and that's what happens to me.
When this happens try to eat something with sugar in it, or orange juice is even better, and see if it makes you feel better...if it does, that's low sugar.
The best thing you can do at that time is drink a glass of orange juice and then get some protein in you.
The orange juice will bring your sugar up and the protein will help to level it out.
You really need to get to the doctor and have this checked out.
Good luck to you and I hope you feel better :)
Could be diabetes go to your doctor and get a diagnosis just in case if you leave this untreated you could risk your life.
Yes, I would think so. You should go to your doctor and have a blood glucose test. You may have diabetes or hypoglycemia. One is high blood sugar and the other is low blood sugar. If so, your doctor will put you on a sensible diet and your cravings will disappear. Do you find the more sugar you eat, the more you want? I thought so.
Diagnosis can be done only after getting lab results. Conduct glucose test first.
Dont ask here, go and see your GP
go to see doc it may be bloodpressure causing the dizzy spells
Do you use cannabis ?
You are addicted to sugar. Your body is no longer able to stabilize your blood sugar. Cut out the sugar soon or you are going to end up a diabetic. These are the warning signs. . .
