Mr. Olympia

Mister Olympia is a competition of bodybuilding professional that is held annually and hosts the best bodybuilders in the world. It is organized by the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB). Since its inception the competition is regarded more highly and that reveals the best bodybuilder in the world. Competitors compete in this contest out of a demanding seeding. Those top 20 the previous year’s Olympia or the Arnold Classics the same year, the top 10 Ironman, the first 5 of each of the professional competitions calendar or the first rated professionalism of Masters World Championship. Also, those who have been Mr. Olympia have the right to classify lifetime. This competition was created in 1965 by Joe Weider to keep all the champions of Mr. Olympia active in sport and to give them the opportunity to earn money to compete. That is, is where only the champions can go now amateur world champions have exhausted their opportunities to compete in the amateur world and have to make the leap to professionalism.

Eugen Sandow

Eugen Sandow, born Friederich Wilhelm Müller (Königsberg today Kaliningrad, April 2 of 1867 – London, October 14 of 1925), an athlete of Prussian origin, is considered the father of bodybuilding modern, having been the first to perform in exhibitions which showed their muscle. Sandow proclaimed a “Greek ideal” as to the proportions of the different parts of the body and was one of the first to market exercise equipment such as weights and pulleys.
